A 17th-century Grade II listed castle set in seventeen acres of grounds, six miles west of Shrewsbury. The whole castle and gardens are ours for the day.

The nearest station is Shrewsbury, around a twenty-minute taxi from the castle. Direct connections from London Euston, Birmingham, Manchester, and Cardiff.
Taxis are usually available at Shrewsbury station. If you'd like to pre-book, we'll share recommended local firms closer to the date.
Rowton Castle has nineteen en-suite rooms on site, exclusively reserved for our wedding party. These will go quickly — please get in touch with us before booking so we can coordinate. If the castle is full, there are lovely places nearby.

Plenty of hotels and B&Bs in Shrewsbury itself, six miles east. Easy taxi back at the end of the night. We'll share a recommended list with the formal invitations.
Lounge suits for the gents, cocktail or midi dresses for the ladies. Think summer wedding in an English castle — smart, but you'll be comfortable on a lawn.
Some of the ceremony and drinks may be outside. We'd suggest a wrap for the evening and shoes you can walk on grass in.
We genuinely don't expect gifts. If you'd like to give something, we'll share a small honeymoon contribution option closer to the date.
